In this post we are concerned with MiniS3 rom for galaxy mini or pop gt-s55570 handset. This rom, in short, is Cyanogenmod 9 rom with TouchWiz 5 launcher and few other user interface elements from galaxy s3 firmware to emulate same user experience within galaxy mini device. Let's look into few details of this rom.

As I mentioned above, this is a touchwiz user interface in cyanognemod 9 roms. So, this rom is similar to that except for the user interface elements. The beautiful looking touchwiz launcher makes this rom awesome and to your surprise this rom is smooth and responses fast. The transition animations in the homescreen are what I like the most in this rom. Overall this rom looks like stock Ice Cream Sandwich rom on galaxy s3 and provides a better taste of the latest Android 4.0.4 Operating System.

Installation Instructions:

First of all make backup of your Device and charge the battery.

Before installing this rom on galaxy mini/pop remember it should be running on latest version of Android gingerbread OS and clockwork mod custom recovery ( it is mandatory else don't use it)

Download the rom file "MiniSIII V2.zip " from the link provided above and copy it to the root directory of your sd-card not inside any folder and turn off your phone.

Reboot your Galaxy mini / pop to recovery mode by pressing Home + Power button at the same time.

When your device boots in recovery mode you will see the Blue Color User Interface where you can't use Touchscreen. Instead use "Volume Up and Volume Down to move Up and Down". And "Home Button to Select". And "Power Button used to go Back"

From the menu that appears select "Apply Update from SDCard" option.

Now select the rom file MiniSIII V2.zip for installation that you placed in the root directory of your sd card once the process is over reboot your device that is all.

NOTE:

If you face any error while updating repeat the process above again.

Congratulation you have installed the latest miniS3 v2 rom on your Galaxy mini/pop that provide you with glaxy s3 experience on you Device.
